Oracle cards for Journal Writing

Oracle cards such as Doreen Virtue’s Archangel Raphael Healing Oracle Cards can be used in many ways to support your Journey each day, week, month or Year. My favorite way to use them is to draw a card in the morning and write in my Journal any reflections or meanings I might glean from it for my own life. I then read any notes the author might have complied and add further to my Journal. This has been a great way to connect with myself, away from my role as a parent, a career and it has supported me in finding the Peace within.

This is a great way to keep the Journal personal with a spiritual focus. There is often a change we can put into place or a confirmation that we are on the right track. If a cards continues to appear on a regular basis, ie. three days in a row, the message is take notice, and go deeper, you are missing the point.

The Card I pulled today is “Stay Positive”…here is an example

I have so much to be thankful for and I am feeling so happy and filled with gratitude. It is a foreign feeling for me and sometimes there is a niggle that it is about to blow up in my face. Yet in recent times, when I felt like the worst could be happening, I haven’t gone into panic, my thoughts instead have been “well if that’s the case, I can get through that too!”. Stay positive is a clear message that there is good in each day; Keep moving and know that you are Loved, You are Loved. Spread the message that every individual is Loved for who they are…not what they do. Smile and bring the Joy into Living.

Notice how the writing changes from “I” to “You”. This indicates that the Higher self is communicating and is really special way of connecting with your inner knowing.

About R Congues

Funny enough, this blog has become the expression of my hopes, dreams, love and experiences. It came about because of the situation I discovered I was in, and I am delighted to see it grow and heal into something different: I am a parent of two children, one who has experienced severe anxiety that became disabling in all aspects of their life. I am a teacher of Maths, Science and Religious Education with a Masters in Special Needs Education; I am a qualified Reiki master, with a love of art and creative experience. I am not a professional in the fields of psychology or medicine. (If you are interested in these perspectives there are many internet sites to use.) I am simply expressing my experience in my own unique way.
