Unconditional Love

Unconditional Love is the flame of the Divine which burns with in each of us, connecting us across time and space. We do not hold the capacity to snuff that flame or dis-engage from it. It is a part of us, beyond our humanity and unifies us as one.

The evidence that Unconditional Love does not exist is in the rejection, abuse, control and “evilness” that abounds within our families, communities, society and the world. Even though this unconditional Love flows and is part of us we can attempt to mask and hide it. Fear can creep in and we can expend a multitude of energy trying to distance ourselves from it. Us and Them don’t really exist. These are the constructs which we use to attempt to distance ourselves. We can hurt and harm others because we fear the capacity of the Unconditional Love that burns through us.

Wanting to be unique is a way of shunning the oneness of unconditional Love. Yet it is the uniqueness that supports the world in binding together and finding the basis on which to let Love flow and breathe. The closest experience I have to unconditional Love is the raw Love I have for my two boys. This feeling is so strong and palpable that it can almost be seen visibly linking us together.

Unconditional Love flows deeper than the human experience and when you delve into the spirit of yourself you begin to discover the slow deep flowing well that connects us all. It is dark, yet filled with Light and holds you in it’s hands. The Peace and Quietness and the welling of Love is ever present. It is a moment away within you.

When you walk down the street take a moment to see each person with unconditional Love. Acknowledge their spirit and feel the oneness that connects you. Do this quietly or loudly, your choice;it makes a difference when see the Love that connects us together on this journey, each moment, each experience.

About R Congues

Funny enough, this blog has become the expression of my hopes, dreams, love and experiences. It came about because of the situation I discovered I was in, and I am delighted to see it grow and heal into something different: I am a parent of two children, one who has experienced severe anxiety that became disabling in all aspects of their life. I am a teacher of Maths, Science and Religious Education with a Masters in Special Needs Education; I am a qualified Reiki master, with a love of art and creative experience. I am not a professional in the fields of psychology or medicine. (If you are interested in these perspectives there are many internet sites to use.) I am simply expressing my experience in my own unique way.
