Home Now

The other evening I attended an Art Therapy class with our local wellness group. By scanning through text from several pages of different books we compiled a series of words, phrases that were put together to create and illustrate a piece of intuitive poetry. Here is what I came up with:

Home Now

I lied to you…
I lied to you every time…
They all were watching me more surrepitiously,

No one to bear witness to my presence,
No one preparing to catch me,
No one listening, to myself breathe.

There were lights everywhere,
“Please don’t choose loneliness
It will spare you nothing.”

Have you been hurt? Are you Hurt?
Talk about what’s bothering us…
Talk and Listen.

               Tasting Panic,
                                 Gradually and steadily retreating…

Cooly analyze the problems,
You merely choose the story you want to tell.

I’d left that Love behind…
Father; Mother…
They balance each other out.IMG_20160503_123514_165[1]

About R Congues

Funny enough, this blog has become the expression of my hopes, dreams, love and experiences. It came about because of the situation I discovered I was in, and I am delighted to see it grow and heal into something different: I am a parent of two children, one who has experienced severe anxiety that became disabling in all aspects of their life. I am a teacher of Maths, Science and Religious Education with a Masters in Special Needs Education; I am a qualified Reiki master, with a love of art and creative experience. I am not a professional in the fields of psychology or medicine. (If you are interested in these perspectives there are many internet sites to use.) I am simply expressing my experience in my own unique way.
