This date is the time of Pentecost, when God appeared as flames upon the apostles and they were able to speak in tongues, communicating with the world. it is also the time of Wesak, a celebration of Buddha and a time when the world is most open to the presence of the universal energy through various deities and ascended masters. It is also the time of SOPP, the Symphony of Peace prayers, a time where various groups around the world prayer for Peace in all the Countries of the World. It appears that the date this year is a very special time. Often we can become lost, so the idea of creating Peace in our own lives and allowing that to light the flame of Peace in the lives of others we meet really appeals and empowers us to be the difference.
“A beautiful day to celebrate the Peace in the world.
Sometimes it seems elusive, surrounded by the destruction;
Fear perpetuated at every turn!
Yet as we sleep, breathe deeply and we can choose to meditate,
Then we discover the Peace within, which always remains.
Finding the path, the key to this Peace in Being
Takes practice and focus and is unique for each of us.
Try silence, try music, try guided meditation, try prayer…
Be in a group or by yourself, your inner self don’t care.
For it is the intention alone that grants us access to the Peace within,
Each person, community, country and world…
Has Peace at it’s fingertips, if it’s willing to learn.
By attending to Peace in your own life you can share,
Through the conscious Connection of spirit with everyone everywhere.
Be not afraid of the Peace granted in your life,
Celebrate and allow it to bring calm and enlightenment.”
