Magic happens

You never know what your life may bring…
Each day so different from where you begin

Sunrise over the Bay

From bonfires, to moonbeams, to laughing with family
We are in this together, each going our own way
Who knows what is right or wrong for any point in our day
Our moral compass may guide us the best part of the way
What we have learnt and experienced creates our values, our truth
Challenge society and discover what is beneath
Fight for your passions, be they conventional or alternate
Unpopular or current, valued or volunteer…
The truth is what we make it, the feeling of purpose
Helps us to rise above the background noise that keeps us hammered below the surface

Magic arises when we live out our day
With balance, forgiveness for when we may stray
Upon the pastures we envied or pleasures of guilt
For in embracing all that we are, we are then truly built

The building blocks of Love are firm and stoic
Warm and enduring, strong and overflowing
With the Love the magic is possible, through eons of space
I connect with you and you with me, no matter the time or place
May Magic and Love fill your cup tonight and every night
May you share it with all and may your life be the brightest light.

A Red Moon just visible between the clouds.

About R Congues

Funny enough, this blog has become the expression of my hopes, dreams, love and experiences. It came about because of the situation I discovered I was in, and I am delighted to see it grow and heal into something different: I am a parent of two children, one who has experienced severe anxiety that became disabling in all aspects of their life. I am a teacher of Maths, Science and Religious Education with a Masters in Special Needs Education; I am a qualified Reiki master, with a love of art and creative experience. I am not a professional in the fields of psychology or medicine. (If you are interested in these perspectives there are many internet sites to use.) I am simply expressing my experience in my own unique way.
