Standing on the edge…

Standing on the edgeOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

The world spread out at my feet

The past lingering behind

The place it needs to be

The future is veiled in mist

One that glows with deepest delight

Machu Picchu 2007

The mystery lies within

There is no need to fear or fight

The road to this precipice

Has been long, tortured, yet true

To the lessons that needed learning

And the experiences that were long over-due

Head held high with knowing

I am ready to venture forth

Reconnect with what means home

And expanding to the limits untold

Standing on the edge of this beginning

Wishing I could carry all in my arms

The Mother Earth within me

Hums her song with deep reviberation

The innocent explorer has her torch in hand and ready

The knight the total protector

Boots strong, yet resting his sword

The sage has learnt so much

Mostly about what it means to be me

The awe that is experienced overcomes

The reality of the delight and the glee

To all who are on a journey

Be it light, dark or grey

Know this one thing always remains true

That life continues to shift and change

There is hope for all, even if you can’t see it

It waits to appear when you are willing

Take little steps, be kind and gentle

To you, for you are all that you need.

Blessings xx
