Hand in Hand

Walking Hand in Hand, we soon discover,
The depths of our courage and our truth that we cover,
Unknown and unexplored the walk is a journey,
We lean upon each other in the challenge and the glory.

Talking Hand in Hand, we reveal our inner thoughts,
We challenge our ideas and bring the best of us out,
We think of the journey and plan the steps we need to take,
Knowing the twisting path guides us to our unknown fate.

Sharing Hand in Hand, we break the bread we find,
We nourish with both hands the life we share this time,
Our home is filled with boundaries that allow us to be ourselves,
To uncover the best beneath our skin, blessed and unjealous.

Loving Hand in Hand, the control is not with us,
We learn to step forward with the ultimate trust,
We will catch each other when we falter and fall,
Though our acks may break we will be there at the call.

Being Hand in Hand, our childish Souls delight in the proof,
Giddily dancing away, not scared of the very truth,
We are together for one specific reason,
That Love continues for the eternity to flow with abandon.310

About R Congues

Funny enough, this blog has become the expression of my hopes, dreams, love and experiences. It came about because of the situation I discovered I was in, and I am delighted to see it grow and heal into something different: I am a parent of two children, one who has experienced severe anxiety that became disabling in all aspects of their life. I am a teacher of Maths, Science and Religious Education with a Masters in Special Needs Education; I am a qualified Reiki master, with a love of art and creative experience. I am not a professional in the fields of psychology or medicine. (If you are interested in these perspectives there are many internet sites to use.) I am simply expressing my experience in my own unique way.

I love that photo – brought all the more real because I remember the story. Magnificent, powerful, moving.
