Looking through pane

The water washes down the pane
Warping the view through my eyes;
Insidious worms wrap their way around
Stopping, building then running from view.
Sadness seeping along the course of this life
Twirling to a slow song of twisted romance;
Beckoning to those with the persuasion to step
Along to the morose timing of the gentle steading beat.
Everything seen is distorting and tainting the view I see
By my thoughts, experiences and feelings of how things should be
Forgetting the clarity that is; wiping the foggy pane clean
These windows to my soul which reflect without gleam.
Open your soul window;let your whole heart fly free
Across the border lands of fear and uncertainty
Meet at the river;it gently drifts to the sea
I’ve got this, I am entitled to be who I be.
