One Step at a time

Life seems so stagnant
The problems so vast
People argue about solutions
Raising voices louder to be heard over the conglomerate

Within their individual lives
People are reeling from uncertainty
Fear is the thread of connection
Keeping the solutions hidden from implementation

Centered and contained we make our way
Through the storms of our mind and our times

Centered and contained we allow to move through
The problems and solutions we strive for

When released solutions evolve
Problems dissipate, we are one

Centred and contained through being as one
The rage of the storm passes by
Be centred and contained not just for you
Be so that others may connect

Open the flood gate
Teach others to be
Together we impact
Together we change

One step at a time
No matter the climate

One step at a time
No matter the drama

One step at a time
No matter the threat

One step at time
To meet fear head on

About R Congues

Funny enough, this blog has become the expression of my hopes, dreams, love and experiences. It came about because of the situation I discovered I was in, and I am delighted to see it grow and heal into something different: I am a parent of two children, one who has experienced severe anxiety that became disabling in all aspects of their life. I am a teacher of Maths, Science and Religious Education with a Masters in Special Needs Education; I am a qualified Reiki master, with a love of art and creative experience. I am not a professional in the fields of psychology or medicine. (If you are interested in these perspectives there are many internet sites to use.) I am simply expressing my experience in my own unique way.
