Step

Step so quietly upon the floor,
Resist not the flow of where you are to go,
Soothing sounds of water flowing richly,
Cutting a path through stones and dirt
Where once there was hesitation as to what the step held,
Falling loftily to the depths was a reality beheld
For the impersonator would allow their mask to fall
And surely someone would wake to the faker before.

Mirror reflecting the truth of it all
Shows that the imposter was real, hidding only percieved flaws
Now walking tall and assured of the space
The steps are synchronise, trusting each fate
For the architect knows there are no boundaries to aspiration
Limits set upon the self are fatal
Yet the forming of relationships say I am me, You are you
Boundaries are important to this flow of energy

Step up my son and be responsible now
Be pro-active and caring for interaction confers
And creates the momentum through which you step through space
Here to support, but not driving your fate
Dis-entangling with Love, creating the space for growth
The dead wood is lifted from the child that once needed it
The dead wood breathes now, a life re-newed
It was needed but now it is only a support beam of use,
